A big bright moon is lighting a torch for us tonight as we head to Denmark in search of butter cookies, blue cheese, and bacon.
WIDAGO uncovered a pair of Maryland Moseley stowaways aboard. So now the count is:
Always outnumbered. Regardless of my domestic engineering efforts, I really don’t think there is anyway to keep that tweenage man-child smell at bay. Farts and Fritos my friends.
So far, the sailing has been great. We left the docks and had sails up by 4pm. Last night we were treated to a beautiful lightning show, followed by winds gusting to +30kts. A bit too rich for my blood. Arab, being the wise, kind sage that he is, decided to wait it out until the winds were lighter to depart for Ronne. After a few hours on a beam reach, we made the turn, and unleashed the “Whomper”. With our big blue parasailor up, we have been enjoying watching all the traffic zigzag and dart across one another. If only all vessels at night had AIS…. It certainly would make napping during my watch much easier.
Looking forward to a breakfast arrival and exploring the castle ruins in Ronne.
